Brian Turner caught his first blue marlin at age 13 in the Gulf of Mexico. That first marlin ignited a passion for bluewater sportfishing that burns just as brightly today as it did back then. Turner has pursued pelagics all over the world, from Mexico to Costa Rica and throughout the Caribbean, but his home waters of the Gulf of Mexico remain his favorite fishing hole. The runs to the fishing grounds are long but the rewards can be incredible.
Joining the Haulin’ Grass team are a wide variety of tournament professionals, each of which is driven to succeed no matter the obstacles. Each person knows not only their job but what’s expected of the other team members and is able to fill in quickly without missing a beat, a critical skill when battling a tournament-winning marlin on light tackle.
